General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Your report says that Gluteus medius muscle is torn alongwith inflammation of its tendon. This condition is known as gluteus medius syndrome.

It usually takes 2-6 weeks time in healing if treated properly. You need to see a physical therapist for guiding you regarding some exercises for its management. You can take a simple painkiller, like tablet ibuprofen twice daily or you can apply ice over the affected area to reduce pain & inflammation. If symptoms still persist, show to a surgeon.
Thank you
